Terms for paid programming consulting and data pipeline development services offered by Data Arc Consulting Sdn. Bhd.
These terms apply to paid programming consulting services (scoped projects and technical advisory) offered by Data Arc Consulting Sdn. Bhd. (SSM 201901543325), 19,Jalan Kelawei, 10250 George Town, Malaysia.
Services
We deliver data pipeline development consulting as described in a signed statement of work or order confirmation. Deliverables, timelines, and fees are defined in that document — not on this marketing site.
Fees and payment
Fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless otherwise stated. Invoices state whether amounts include applicable taxes. Payment methods and due dates are specified on each invoice. Late payment may pause work after notice.
Client responsibilities
You will provide timely access to systems, documentation, and stakeholders needed for pipeline design and implementation. Delays caused by missing access may shift schedules.
Intellectual property
Unless the statement of work states otherwise, upon full payment you receive a licence to use deliverables created specifically for you. We retain rights to pre-existing tools, libraries, and general know-how.
Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other’s confidential information disclosed during an engagement, using reasonable care.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our aggregate liability arising from an engagement is limited to the fees paid for that engagement in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Consumers may have rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, including access to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims for qualifying disputes up to RM 50,000.
