Refund Policy
Refund and cancellation terms for paid data pipeline consulting engagements with Data Arc Consulting.
This policy applies to paid programming consulting (scoped projects and advisory retainers) sold by Data Arc Consulting Sdn. Bhd. (SSM 201901543325).
Proposed terms — pending business confirmation.
Eligibility
Refund requests apply to fees paid under a signed statement of work. Discovery or blueprint fees may be partially refundable if work has not started; milestone payments for completed milestones are not refundable once deliverables for that milestone are accepted.
Baseline timeframe
Where no custom terms are signed, service fees may be refunded within 7 calendar days of written payment confirmation, minus any work already performed at hourly rates stated in the statement of work.
Deposits and milestones
Deposits secure scheduling and environment access. Deposits are non-refundable once kickoff tasks listed in the statement of work have begun. Milestone payments follow the acceptance criteria in each milestone description.
Cancellation and rescheduling
You may cancel an engagement with written notice. Fees for work completed to the cancellation date remain due. Scheduled advisory calls may be rescheduled with at least twenty-four hours’ notice.
No-shows
Missed advisory sessions without notice may be charged against prepaid blocks per the statement of work.
How to request a refund
Email info@dataarc.digital or call +60-4-0000-1713 with your invoice reference and reason. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible within fourteen business days.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999, including remedies available through the Tribunal for Consumer Claims for qualifying disputes.
